Want to tell your buyers about an upcoming sale? With PFW Auction Manager 3.0 you can now add a message to the bottom of buyer invoices. Define up to five different messages, for all kinds of purposes. Specify the message you want as the default and have it print on each invoice. If your cashier needs to, he or she can choose from one of the other four messages when creating an invoice. Perhaps your default message informs customers of an upcoming sale, while one of your secondary messages displays specific terms for those who purchase farm machinery. You can even create an invoice message specific to just the invoice you’re creating – directly from the cashiering screen!

Easily backup and restore copies of your PFW Auction Manager database with this user-friendly utility. No more manual copying of files is required; PFW Auction Manager Server Utilities will automatically locate your database and back it up to the location you specify. In the event that you need to restore your backup, PFW Auction Manager Server Utilities can do it for you. PFW Auction Manager Tool Strip
Looking to quickly open up commonly-used screens in PFW Auction Manager? Version 3.0 offers the Tool Strip, a super-fast way to switch between areas of the program with a simple mouse click. There’s no need to toggle between windows the old-fashioned way. If screen real estate is tight, you can turn off the Tool Strip and turn it on again whenever you need it.

Individual User Settings
PFW Auction Manager 3.0 allows program settings to be associated with the individual user who set them. This means if Tom likes to sort buyers by buyer number and Katie likes to have buyers sorted by last name, both can have their own settings without having to change the others.

Support for Limited User Installations
PFW Auction Manager 3.0 can be used by Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP users who have limited-access accounts. Prior versions of PFW Auction Manager required that users of these operating systems had Administrator authority.

Support for Windows XP Fast User Switching Added
Microsoft Windows XP introduced the Fast User Switching feature. In Windows XP, it is not necessary for a user to log off the computer. The user’s account can remain logged on and the user can switch quickly between all open accounts. PFW Auction Manager 3.0 now supports fast user switching, and installations for all users of the computer.

Support for Tax on Tax Situations
Tax situations where a sales tax is required to be charged on another sales tax are now supported with PFW Auction Manager 3.0.

Support for Taxing the Buyer Premium as Part of the Item
For regions that require the buyer premium to be totaled with the item value before being taxed, PFW Auction Manager 3.0 can handle this taxation issue for you.

Rebuilt for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
PFW Auction Manager 3.0 now uses the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. This will allow for even greater functionality possibilities in future releases of PFW Auction Manager, and will allow for an easier transition to future Microsoft operating systems like Windows Vista.

General Enhancements
A number of under-the-covers modifications have been made to increase performance, and provide an even more stable PFW Auction Manager. An updated reporting engine and report viewer component has also been included.
